Enviroschools is an innovative nationwide school programme where students plan, design and create sustainable communities. We are seeking a person to facilitate the Enviroschools Programme on the West Coast.
This role involves supporting teachers and students with environmental learning and action, promoting the programme to new schools and building relationships with Councils and community groups.
The successful applicant will have initiative, be self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic and highly organised. Knowledge of Education for Sustainability, the NZ school curriculum, sustainable practices and Māori perspectives of the environment would be beneficial.
