Hawke's Bay Enviroschools facilitator - position vacant

Hawke's Bay Regional Council is seeking a person or organisation to facilitate the Enviroschools Programme averaging 15 hours per week on a fixed term contract ending 30 June 2009. This involves supporting teachers and students with environmental learning and action, building relationships with community experts and working collaboratively with a range of educators.

The successful contractor will be self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic and highly organised, able to work from home and provide own transport. Knowledge of Education for Sustainability, sustainable practices, Māori perspectives of the environment, and a tertiary qualification in teaching would be beneficial. Hours of work and terms of contract to be negotiated.
