Help find New Zealand's favourite indigenous plant.

9th August 2006

Voting for New Zealand's favourite indigenous plant is now open for 2006 via the website of the New Zealand Plant Conservation Network NZ Plant Conservation Network.

This voting system allows each person to vote up to 5 times. Please register your votes and encourage your school members, friends, family, colleagues, recovery groups and regional plant networks to vote also.

This system will enable us to determine New Zealand favourite plant and why but also to establish regional variation in what is the top species. Last years winner was Lepidium oleraceum (Cook's scurvy grass). Results will be announced at the Network conference in November in Auckland.

Voting is open till 20th November 2006
