The ahu māra at Hastings Intermediate School has seen planning, collaboration, muscle work, teamwork, planting, monitoring, harvesting and enjoyment for all. Sowing the seeds of a better future

Napier Central School has sown the seeds for a better future after joining the Enviroschools programme last year. This combined with the support from Garden to Table and the wider community has fed the ground for on-going learning and action for their local environment.

Local curriculum/ marautanga enriches learning at Te Kura o Pakipaki

Weaving their own marautanga/ curriculum with the kaupapa of Enviroschools allows tamariki and whānau to learn alongside each other and connect with their whenua and awa.
