350 Aotearoa Schools Day of Climate Action

350ppm is the atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide that scientists say is the safe upper limit for humanity. We're currently at 389ppm, and rising at 2ppm per year.

Enviroschools all over the country supported the 350 Schools' Day of Climate Action, meaning thousands of young New Zealanders took a 350-themed action on October 23rd! Each school took a photo of their action, which will be used alongside photos from 5500 similar actions across 181 countries - all to build the voice for strong action on climate change, in the lead up to December's Copenhagen summit.
